    Oral radiology offers diverse career possibilities in academia, research, and private practice settings. Many oral and maxillofacial radiologists combine some or all of these practice settings.

The CAOMR is the national voice of oral and maxillofacial radiology in Canada. The Academy has a mandate to advance the art and science of oral and maxillofacial radiology. 

CAOMR membership is open to:

  • oral and maxillofacial radiologists
  • oral and maxillofacial radiology graduate or post-graduate students
  • dental students with an appreciable interest in the field
  • students in an undergraduate or graduate program deemed to be within the scope of oral radiology
  • individuals with a particular interest or practice focusing on or relating to oral radiology
